Midmarket Companies Find Success in Savannah, Look to San Antonio this Fall

speed networking
Speed networking at Midmarket CIO Forum is a rapid-fire, fun way to introduce CIOs and participating vendor companies.

Gathering to understand shared pain points among their counterparts is always a big draw for executives who block their calendars each year to attend Midmarket CIO Forum.

As technology organizations are pushed to drive speed, production and efficiency across midmarket companies, most CIOs’ bandwidth for discovering and evaluating new solutions is shrinking exponentially.

“The Midmarket CIO Forum replaces four other major industry events, essentially giving me back 18 days of my year. That means I actually get to take a vacation!” said RC Woodson, Midmarket CIO Forum Advisory Board member and Spring 2018 CIO Award of Excellence winner.

He credits providers like Information Builders, Morphisec and Netreo – all of whom he first learned about at Midmarket CIO Forum – for supporting his company’s small IT staff constantly tasked with addressing new, critical business projects.

Chris Meyerpeter brings more than two decades of technology leadership experience at Monsanto to his new role as CIO at Ardent Mills. The access to quality vendors and cutting edge technologies all in one place was a refreshing feature, he said, adding “The boardroom concept was incredible insightful and really gave me access to vendors that I probably wouldn’t have sought out.”

Carl Moore, Dir. of National Channel Development at TPx Communications, said while he was familiar with the hosted format that dates back more than two decades, the evolution of the forum under Boardroom Events guidance helped his team secure nearly 30 meetings with new clients after the forum wrapped.

“We’re definitely looking forward to San Antonio!” he confirmed.

The Fall 2018 Midmarket CIO Forum is slated for Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 at the La Cantera Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, TX. More than 75 percent of the available boardroom presentations slots have already been reserved!
